General FAQs

Each session is unique and customized to your needs. A typical session may include:
Grounding & nervous system regulation (breathwork, movement, or body awareness).
Exploring patterns, emotions, or challenges through a somatic, spiritual, or business lens.
Tools for integration, such as visualization, parts work, or embodiment practices.
Sessions are a blend of deep listening, intuitive guidance, and actionable support, helping you create lasting transformation.
-
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. Virtual sessions allow you to experience deep healing from the comfort of your space, while in-person work offers a more immersive, relational experience.

On Being Trauma Informed
-
Being trauma-informed means recognizing that everyone carries lived experiences that shape how they respond to stress, relationships, and personal growth. In my work, this means:
Prioritizing safety, choice, and consent in every session.
Respecting nervous system capacity—healing should never feel forced or overwhelming.
Moving at your pace, allowing space for integration rather than pushing for immediate breakthroughs.
Recognizing systemic and generational trauma as part of the healing process.
-
Trauma is not just a memory in our mind—it is stored in the body, nervous system, and subconscious patterns that shape how we feel, react, and connect.
Many healing practices, while well-intentioned, can unknowingly trigger overwhelm or bypass the body's need for safety and regulation. A trauma-informed approach ensures that your healing happens at a pace your nervous system can handle, without force or retraumatization.
This approach honors that healing is not about pushing through discomfort, but about creating the conditions where integration and transformation can unfold naturally at your own innate pace.
-
Some of the gentle, body-based tools I use to support nervous system regulation and resilience include:
Grounding practices to bring presence and safety.
Breathwork and movement to support emotion and energy flow.
Parts work and inner dialogue to explore inner dynamics with self-compassion.
Co-regulation practices to create a sense of support and connection.
-
If you’re looking for a space that honors your whole self—body, emotions, and nervous system—without pressure or urgency, a trauma-informed approach ensures that you are in control of your own healing and growth.
Somatic Healing
-
Somatic healing is a body-based approach to working with stress, trauma, and emotional patterns. Instead of focusing only on thoughts or analysis, we listen to what the body is saying—through breath, tension, sensation, and movement.
This work supports nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and a deeper sense of safety and self-trust.
-
Every session is different and led by what feels most supportive in the moment.
We’ll start with a check-in, then move into gentle, guided practices that may include:
Tracking physical sensations
Breathwork or grounding
Nervous system awareness
Gentle movement or stillness
Reflection and integration
Sessions are slow, collaborative, and always guided by your pacing and choice.
-
Somatic healing focuses on the body's wisdom rather than just the mind. While traditional talk therapy often centers on cognitive processing, somatic healing works with felt sensations, nervous system regulation, and body-based awareness to release stored trauma, regulate emotions, and foster deep self-connection.
-
Clients come to somatic healing for a wide range of reasons, including:
Chronic stress or burnout
Anxiety or overwhelm
Disconnection from the body
Grief or emotional numbness
Creative blocks or life transitions
A desire for more presence, joy, or ease
This work helps you feel more at home in yourself.
-
Virtual sessions are held over Zoom and focus on guided body awareness, regulation, and presence.
In-home sessions (available locally) include hands-on touch work and are longer, more immersive experiences that support deep regulation. Both are grounded in consent, safety, and nervous system pacing.
-
No. You’re never required to share more than feels safe and supportive.
We work with what’s present in your body—not by reliving the past, but by gently creating space for what wants to move now. This can include emotion, sensation, or simply rest.
-
Yes. My work is deeply rooted in trauma-informed, nervous system-aware practice.
You are always in charge of your experience, and I work gently, respectfully, and at your pace. Asking for consent along the way. -
Integration is the process of taking what’s experienced or felt in a session and allowing it to become part of your lived, everyday self. It’s how insight becomes embodiment. It’s how your system slowly reorganizes around new patterns of safety, presence, and wholeness.
In somatic healing, integration might look like:
Noticing your breath more throughout the day
Feeling a little more capacity in a situation that used to overwhelm you
Allowing yourself to rest, move, or respond differently than before
Remembering that your body knows how to lead you
Integration doesn’t require effort—it requires time, space, and gentleness. It’s where real healing happens. That’s why sessions are paced slowly, and why rest and reflection afterward are often just as important as the session itself.
